FAISALABAD: A 30-year-old Chinese engineer was crushed to death under the wheels of a tractor-trolley in Faisalabad on Thursday.

Police said Baan, a Chinese engineer, was travelling on a tractor-trolley when he lost control and fell on the road. As a result, he was crushed under the wheels of the tractor-trolley.

Meanwhile, a speeding bus hit a motorcycle near Chak No 247-RB. As a result, 36-year-old Saddam Hussian died on-the-spot, while his brother Arsalan and Amjad were shifted to a hospital in critical condition.

Similarly, a speeding car hit Mumtaz Bibi when she was crossing the road near Islam Nagar. She was killed on the spot. Meanwhile, the police arrested three shopkeepers for decanting liquefied gas and registered cases against them.

The police said shopkeepers Babar Hussain, Dilawar Abbas and Ejaz Shahid were arrested from Batala colony on the charge of re-filling LPG gas cylinders illegally. The police registered cases against the accused.
