On a late night flight to Madrid, Samsung gifts 200 passengers with the Note 8 device
Samsung gave the world a Note 7 flashback as it distributed over 200 Note 8 devices on a Spanish flight, one year after airlines banned the Note 7 onboard.
In a video posted by Samsung Spain, passengers were seen receiving over 200 Note 8 devices in what is an effort to leave behind a positive end to last year's Note 7 erupting saga.
The South Korean giants Galaxy Note 7 Phablet started to explode owing to a battery issue leading to a mass recall of the device and subsequently being banned by Aircraft regulators.
The flight that received the gifts flew between La Coruña and Madrid.

Samsung launched the Note 8 device late in August 2017 and was made available in the market on September 15.
Passengers on the plane were unsurprisingly excited and happy to have received a phone.
On the box, a message read “A year ago we asked you to turn it off, we welcome you today on board,” hinting at the ban on carrying Note 7 devices during air travel.
Samsung's has overturned its Note 7 misfortunes and has had a strong showing in the smartphone market with the S8 and Note 8 leading the way.
