Fines imposed on 14 shopkeepers in Faisalabad

14 shopkeepers were fined for overcharging and profiteering

FAISALABAD: Price Control Magistrate Riaz Hussain Anjum has imposed fine on 14 shopkeepers for profiteering and overcharging in Faisalabad.

The price control magistrate conducted surprise visits at various markets to check quality and sale of daily use commodities and found the shopkeepers to be involved in overcharging and profiteering, therefore, Anjum imposed a fine of Rs24,500 on them.
