ISLAMABAD:
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SECP) of Pakistan has become the first Pakistani regulatory organisation to win ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 certification.
Receiving the certification on Thursday, SECP Chairman Muhammad Ali described it as a major achievement.
Arshad Javed Minhas, Division Executive Director of the information systems and technology department, which earned the certification, termed it a significant indicator of the regulator’s commitment to global information security standards.
