Golf: Furyk, Day in action at Heritage
Jim Furyk defends his title this week at The Heritage.
HILTON HEAD:
US veteran Jim Furyk defends his title this week at The Heritage, while Australian Jason Day returns to PGA Tour action seeking to build on his runner-up finish at the Masters.
Day said he could only be encouraged by his Masters performance, which included an impressive second-round 64 and a closing 68 that proved too little when Charl Schwartzel birdied his last four holes. His display at his first Masters earned him a spot in one of The Heritage’s marquee first-round pairings, alongside Furyk and US Ryder Cup player Matt Kuchar.
