Youth recovered from illegal police detention
CIA police allegedly picked up 18-year-old from home and tortured him in the lock-up of the police station
SARGODHA:
The court bailiff recovered a youth from illegal detention of CIA police on the orders of District and Sessions judge Sohail Ikram on Monday.

Court officials said complainant Musarat Bibi, a resident of Anjum Town, filed a petition in the court in which she alleged that the CIA police had picked up her 18-year-old son Asad from home and tortured him in the lock-up of the police station.
On the orders of district and sessions Judge, Court Bailiff Mehmand Khan conducted a raid at CIA police station and recovered Asad. The court also ordered the Incharge of CIA police station for presenting the record in the court within two days.

Meanwhile, a body of an unidentified man was recfrom Rawana Canal.
Similarly, Factory Area police recovered a body of an unidentified woman from Lower Jhelum Canal.
