Nomi Ansari unveils Pakistan's fashion film of the year

Titled 'Qabool Hai', the short film also features 'jalebis'!

Designer heavyweight Nomi Ansari recently released his fashion film of the year titled ‘Qabool Hai’. Starring Sana Javed and Ali Rehman Khan. The short video features an elaborate wedding that starts off with a mehendi, followed by the baraat and a wedding reception.

The cast is spotted in different Nomi Ansari ensembles – perfect for the wedding season. The jewellery is by Hamna Amir and the style director is Aneela Murtaza.

This fashion film comes in great timing with Pakistanis globally entering into what’s considered as the ‘shaadi season’. The first few scenes might remind you of the festivities in Bollywood films – but you will soon realise that everything in this style flick. From the vibrant ensembles and the stunning flower arrangements to the traditional music and desi sweets are reminiscent of today’s Pakistani shaadi.
