Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's mansion witnesses a break-in

On early Friday morning, a young, dark-haired man broke into Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s Bel Air residence. The intruder broke into the property without entering the couple’s house at around 4am in the morning, confirms police.

Armed security guards drew loaded guns at the man – dressed in a sleeveless top and sweatpants –which made him flee the scene with nothing but an iPhone that apparently belonged to the couple’s staff. The perpetrator jumped over to actor Kathy Griffin’s residence next.

Reasons behind the intrusion are still unknown as the culprit chose to let go of the purse he picked while escaping in the vehicle he vandalised. Security cameras at the Kim and Kayne residence captured complete footage of the alleged burglar who did not choose to hide his identity during the intrusions.

A series of break-ins involving celebs from Los Angeles have been reported in the recent times. Jason Derulo, Emmy Rossum, Scott Disick, David Spade, Rachel Bilson and others have been robbed this year.

This latest Kardashian incident happens just over a year after Kim was mugged at gunpoint in Paris; jewels worth a whopping $11million were snatched during the burglary. Such a spate of burglaries isn’t new to the Kardashian family.

Kim's sister, Kendall Jenner, also fell victim to a burglary in March this year when she had to let go of jewellery worth $200,000 from her house. Also, in November 2016, a man was arrested for stalking Jenner right into her driveway and banging on her car windows.

Amongst others, Mariah Carrey suffered a robbery on Thursday where the burglars snatched $50,000 worth of belongings that included mainly hand purses and sunglasses from her LA residence.
