UAF holds seminar on statistics

University of Agriculture (UAF) Vice Chancellor Dr Muhammad Iqbal Zafar said on Friday statistical data with empirical evidence was imperative to make right decisions.
He expressed these views while addressing a seminar on the importance of statistics. The seminar was arranged by the department of math and statistics to mark World Statistics Day.
For students, mathematics as a way of thinking
Dr Zafar said statistics was playing an important role in development of the nation and society. He urged scientists to conduct research which would help in addressing problems confronted by the common man.
