KARACHI: Mawra Hocane is surely sticking to her roots! The starlet is all set to star in yet another drama serial, helmed by Udaari director, Ehtashamuddin.
PHOTO: PUBLICITYThe drama is titled Aangan and is reportedly set in the pre-partition era. Aangan is produced by MD Production and will comprise a stellar cast.
A little birdie also tells us that this upcoming venture will be made on a massive scale, deeming it one of the most expensive TV productions to date. Expect a larger-than-life set that will make the project all the more believable!
PHOTO: PUBLICITYSources close to the Sanam Teri Kasam actor reveal that she is very excited to be part of such a seriously intriguing project. The story is written by Mustafa Zaidi, who also penned down the script for Noman Ejaz, Saniya Saeed starrer Sang-e-Marmar.

Previously, Dastaan, another period drama excelled on a local channel which starred Fawad Khan, Sanam Baloch, Samina Peerzada and others - which proves that Pakistani audiences thrive on period plays.
