The Tarnol police have arrested seven gamblers red-handed during a raid at a gambling den in Tarnol and recovered stake money from them, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, Saddar Superintendent Hassam Bin Iqbal constituted a team under the supervision of Tarnol police station SHO Inspector Sajjad Bukhari to raid the gambling den.
His squad, including Sub-Inspector Yaseen Ali, raided the gambling den and arrested seven gamblers red-handed. They also recovered stake money worth Rs24,380 from them.
The suspects which were detained were identified as Amjad, Gulzar Khan, Dildar Khan, Syed Afsar, Fazal Ghani, Sohaib, and Razak.
