Athletics : WAPDA stay top of the table
Wapda holds onto its position at the top of the table at the end of the second day.

Wapda held onto its position at the top of the table at the end of the second day of the 43rd National Athletics Championship taking place in Lahore with 13 gold, 14 silver and six bronze medals.
Army was lying second with seven gold, six silver and five bronze medals while Pakistan Air Force sit third with two gold, two silver and as many bronze medals.
Wapda’s Azhar Abbas took a gold medal in the hammer event with a throw of 63 meters. In the women’s event, Razia Sultana of Wapda grabbed gold with a throw of 38.83m.
Army’s Adnan Anjum took first place in the pole vault event.
