Experts assert making a cursory study of civics, sociology and political science as compulsory subjects

Politicians, environmentalists and academicians have urged the government to include democratic civic education and democracy in the curriculum at school-level to help broaden the understanding of students and people on social and economic issues,
Although the subjects of civics, sociology and political science were available as optional, experts have asserted making a cursory study of these topics as compulsory subjects.
They also urged the government for implementing Senate resolution on democratic civic education.
