Drilling programme : Energy firm finalises contracts
Petroleum Exploration Private Limited has concluded all major service contracts required for 2011 drilling programme.
KARACHI:
Petroleum Exploration Private Limited, the operator of Canadian firm Jura Energy Corporation’s blocks in Pakistan, has concluded all major service contracts required for the 2011 drilling programme.
A press release on Tuesday said that the contracts included provision of drilling rig by CNPC Shuanqing Drilling Engineering Company for a two-well programme. The rig will be moved to Wahid-I well in Badin IV North Block in Sindh for drilling a 2,300-metre well.
