Teachers of govt colleges in K-P, FATA go on strike
They unanimously rejected any reform in the guise of Board of Governor in colleges

State run college’s activities in K-P and Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) remained suspended on Tuesday due to a strike by teachers in favour of their demands.
On Monday, a general body meeting of all local, divisional and provincial representatives of colleges teachers held at Peshawar decided that curricular and co-curricular activities in colleges will remain suspended till fulfilment of their demands of promotions and allowances.
They unanimously rejected any reform in the guise of Board of Governor in colleges.
Talking to The Express Tribune Prof Fazal Nasir said that provincial government need to reviews its educational policies and determines the conditions that can best provide a solid ground for the intended growth.
