Extension: House-count given six more days
Federal Census Commission decides to extend the deadline of completing the house listing by six days.
KARACHI:
The Federal Census Commission has decided to extend the deadline of completing the house listing by six days.
Now, the census staff will finish the count by April 25. Some provinces including Sindh started the house-count on April 5 which should have been completed by April 19, but because of the “increase in workload”, this could not be done. According to a census worker, the decision to count every flat in apartment buildings, instead of giving the structure a single number, increased the workload of the staff.
