Bandits first deprived the victims of valuables and cash at gunpoint
FAISALABAD:
Unidentified bandits shot dead a local trader and injured his nephew for offering resistance during a robbery bid in the area of Millat Town police station.
A police official said that 50-year-old Nazir Ahmad, a resident of Chak No 122-JB, was riding a motorcycle along with his nephew Dildar Ahmad, a resident of Chak No 214-RB, when armed bandits intercepted them near Crescent Mills. They deprived them of their valuables and cash at gunpoint.

When Nazir and Dildar offered resistance, the bandits opened fire on them and fled the scene. As a result, both victims suffered injuries and were rushed to a local hospital. However, Nazir succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital while the condition of Dildar Ahmad was stated to be critical.
