So, the latest 'chic' trend are the 'Pointy-Toe Sneakers' or as I like to call them, the sneaker khussas.
Nose hair extensions are apparently now a thing and 'Oh Dear God!'
At the Spring 2018 Loewe show, Jonathan Anderson unveiled a devilishly pointy-toe sneaker.
The sporty footwear was elevated, rendered in reptile skin in colors of green, sand, and mahogany with a tip that had a distinctive upward curve.
According to Vogue’s Chief Fashion Critic, Sarah Mower, the collection was themed around the “traveling woman with her craft souvenirs,” the kind who might take a quick jaunt to Morocco.
The shoes were indeed inspired by the pointy-toe babouche slipper that at times has an exaggerated tip.

Of course, people on Twitter couldn't help but notice the references to both elves and Aladdin:

While fashion's sneaker obsession likely isn't going anywhere anytime soon, will these pointy renditions become the next street style must-haves? What do you think?
