LAHORE:
The opposition benches sought debate over a traffic jam issue on Ferozpur Road claiming the negligence was on the part of traffic police which seemed reluctant for making a comprehensive plan to resolve the issue.
This was stated by PPP’s legislator Mian Khuram Jahangir of the opposition benches in an adjournment motion he submitted in the Punjab Assembly. He contended that the issue of traffic jam persisted despite the government had constructed a seven kilometre long signal free road from Qurtaba Chowk to Liberty Chowk spending more than Rs0.1billion.
