Farmers were cutting grass in the sugarcane field when they spotted the girl’s body
FAISALABAD:
A minor girl was found murdered in the jurisdiction of Chak Jhumra police station on Tuesday.
Police said that seven-year-old Amina, a resident of Madina Town, had gone missing from her house two days back. On Tuesday, some female farmers were cutting grass in the sugarcane field when they spotted the girl’s body.
Minor succumbs to open manhole
They immediately informed the police which reached the spot and took the body into custody. The police have registered a case and started investigation. Meanwhile, four people suffered burn injuries due to a fire in the area of Sargodha Road police station.
A police official said that the fire erupted in the house of Shaukat Ali due to gas leakage from a cylinder. The fire engulfed the entire house and caused severe burn injuries to Shaukat Ali, Adnan, Ehsan and Tahir.
Two minor brothers drown in uncovered nullah
The firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control. The victims were shifted to Burns Unit of Allied Hospital.
