Leak shows what Google Pixel 2 XL looks like

Google is expected to formally unveil both new phones at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday

With Google's big Pixel 2 launch just a couple days away, we couldn’t stop ourselves from peeking into what the phone would look like.

Thankfully, we're not alone. A new leaked image has emerged which shows the Google flagship smartphone’s front-facing display.

In a tweet, Evan Blass who previously leaked information regarding the iPhone X prior to its launch shows images of the phone's front side from both straight-on and side angles.



The side angle is particularly intriguing, given the previous rumours that suggest the phone will have a so-called "squeezable frame" that allows you to interact with Google Assistant by pressing on the sides of the phone.

Both handsets are reported to have QHD curved displays, though the curve is difficult to identify from the leaked images.

The devices show that the Pixel 2 will certainly have smaller bezels compared to its predecessor, along with other subtle changes to the user interface such as the Google search bar being moved down to the bottom of the display rather than the top.

These leaks come just as we've many other significant details about Google's upcoming pair of flagship devices including prices for both phones, and other specs.



Blass had earlier tweeted that Google’s new flagship device will improve on its predecessor with a new Snapdragon 836 processor, which Android Central believes will be a tweaked version of the formidable 835 chip used in OnePlus 5 and Xiaomi’s Mi 6 this year

Google is expected to formally unveil both new phones, along with a bunch of other new hardware, at an event in San Francisco on Wednesday.
