Budget:L EDB forms body to prepare proposals
EDB has started its budget exercise for 2011-12 by forming several sectoral committees.
ISLAMABAD:
The Engineering Development Board (EDB) has started its budget exercise for 2011-12 by forming several sectoral committees on engineering and allied sector.
According to a statement of the EDB, a separate committee on auto sector has been constituted, having members of subcommittee of auto industry development committee on fiscal issues. These committees will finalise the budget proposals related to their sector soon, after which the proposals will be consolidated and examined for discussions and the final tariff proposals will be forwarded to the concerned quarters by the end of next month.
