SARGODHA: The anti-corruption police registered a case against five employees of health department over corruption charges in Sargodha.

Health department infected with 1,200 ghost doctors

Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) authorities said that complainant Abdul Rehman stated in his application that health department published a tender worth Rs1 million for publicity and advertisements of Tehsil Headquarter Piplan and Esa Khel Tehsils. However, accused Faisal Hameed, Ehsanullah, Mohsin Raza, Abdul Nasir and Atta Muhammad embezzled Rs1 million by withdrawing the amount from the treasury by submitting bogus bills from fake advertisement firms.
