A man was tortured by shop owners in a private cell for three days.

A man was tortured by shop owners in a private cell for three days.
Sarafa Bazaar resident Abdul Khaliq used to work at a jewellery shop belonging to brothers Shafiq and Rafiq.
The shop owners gave him 10 grams of gold and sent him to Kot Addu to deliver the gold to a client.
Khaliq said that he was robbed on his way to Kot Addu and returned to tell Rafiq about what had happened.
The shop owners accused him of stealing the gold and locked him in a room where he wasn’t given any food for two days and was beaten regularly.
Abdul Khaliq’s family protested against the incident and Dolat Gate police station are conducting an investigation.
