IHC bar, PIMS reach agreement over health package

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) and Pakistan Medical Institute for Medical Sciences (Pims) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Islamabad High Court (IHC) for a health package.

The MoU was signed by IHCBA President Arif Chuadhry and Pims Chief Executive Prof Javid Akram. Prof Javid announcing health services package for lawyers said that Pims had 10 years long relationship with the legal fraternity which should move forward. Chuadhry stated that the bar would be committed for the welfare of lawyers, adding a club for Islamabad lawyers would also be constituted soon.

He said instead of criticising the bars, lawyers should support the bodies for the betterment of the legal fraternity. He thanked Pims management for providing health services to the lawyers.
