Housing Schemes: OPC takes up complaints of expats

LAHORE:
Complaints of expatriate Pakistanis regarding housing schemes are being treated on a priority basis, said Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Commissioner Afzaal Bhatti.

He was presiding over a meeting to review the status of development work in a private housing scheme. He said that interaction had been developed with the management of these schemes to ensure timely handing over plots and houses to overseas Pakistanis.


Bhatti  directed the management of the scheme to expedite the development work and send the report in this regard to OPC head office on a weekly basis. He added that construction of roads, sewerage, water supply and drainage system be completed before November 30 so that handing over of plots could be ensured in shortest possible time.
