Sale of property: Court notices displayed outside Sharif’s residences
Nawaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar asked to appear before court, barred from selling their properties

Justice Muhammad Bashir of Islamabad’s accountability court has once again issued notices to deposed premier Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, asking them to appear before the court on September 26 and barring them from selling their properties.
The notices for Sharif – pasted outside his residences in Model Town and Raiwind – mentions names of his daughter Mariam Nawaz and son in law Capt (retd) Safdar and sons – Hassan and Hussain Nawaz . The notice for Ishaq Dar has been sent to Gulburg’s Block-H residence.
Corruption references: Sharifs fail to show up, summoned again
According to the notices, Nawaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar cannot sell or transfer any of their properties, including those in other countries, till the decision of the references. NAB Lahore has also sent dispatched notices at the residences of Sharif and Dar in Lahore.
The notices have been issued under NAB Ordinance clause 23. The sources said the accountability court issued notices because Sharif and members of his family did not appear before the court. Copies of the two notices have been provided to Lahore Development Authority, Excise Punjab, Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, DHA and different banks.
