Thousands of supporters of Khalistan movement staged an anti-India rally at Times Square in New York on Thursday.
They raised anti-India slogans and held placards demanding freedom of Sikhs from India, media reports said.

The demonstration has caused embarrassment for Modi’s government.
It should be recalled that the Sikh demonstrations follow the Indian supported advertisement campaigns for an independent Balochistan in Geneva.
