A woman axed to death her 'disloyal' husband for honour, and severely injured his 'lover' in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
Police said Ruqaiyya lost her patience after seeing her husband Ghulam Qamar with another woman in a Jaranwala's suburban village, Express News reported.
She started hitting her spouse repeatedly with an axe, which resulted in his death on the spot.
The suspected killer, who is now in police custody, said her husband had stopped bearing domestic expenses and taking caring of the family.
Ruqaiyya also said she suspected that her husband had an affair with another woman. The injured woman was shifted to a hospital.
