Cops and schools unite for road safety

Students were taught different safety tips

Central Zone National Highways and Motorway Police Mobile Education have arranged a road safety awareness, painting and model exhibition and competition for the children of Allied School in Jubilee Town, Lahore.

Allied School Director Muhammed Iftikhar Hussain, staff, parents, motorway police officers, and students were present on the occasion. The students were briefed with the help of a multi-media projector and taught about road crossing, safety helmets, lane usage, seatbelts, hazards of speeding, driving during adverse weather conditions and other tips for safety.


Police-public interaction: Recognising those who help keep roads safe

The students were asked to follow traffic rules, as civilised nations are known by their discipline when driving. On this occasion, Hussain has appreciated the role of motorway police in ensuring road safety. He said children and the youth prime were the focus of the National Highways and Motorway Police.
