Committee formed to oversee medical equipment exhibition
It will carry out planning to discuss and replicate important Turkish models in Punjab

On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a committee has been constituted to oversee an exhibition of medical equipment which is scheduled to be held in Lahore by the end of this month.
Changing technology: CIME launches facility for medical students
The committee has been formed to make appropriate arrangement for this exhibition. Specialised Healthcare Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah said the ToRs of the committee would be to make appropriate arrangements for medical equipment exhibition including security arrangements, formulating guests list, sequence of ceremonies considering the arrival of guests from Turkish Ministry of Health.
The committee will also formulate agenda of the chief minister’s meetings with important companies and delegates from Turkey and Pakistan. The committee will also carry out necessary planning to discuss and replicate important Turkish models such as central laboratory in Punjab.

Punjab Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq was the convener of the committee whereas other members of the committee included Primary and Secondary Health Minister, Population Welfare Minister, Industries Minister, Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, P&D Chairman, IDAP CEO, PKLI President, Industries Secretary, Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Secretary, Primary and Secondary Health Secretary, Rescue 1122 DG, Punjab Healthcare Commission COO, PBIT CEO, LCCI President, Lahore Commissioner, Lahore CCPO, Health P&D Member, PDMA DG, ICRU Head and Turkish Consultant Dr Hassan Cagil.
