Varsities unite for quality education

Institutions agree to access research laboratories, facilities, joint seminars, workshops

LAHORE: Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will start joint ventures for faculty development and conferences to promote quality education. AIOU Vice Chancellor Dr Shahid Siddiqui and LCWU Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma Qureshi signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the syndicate hall of LCWU on Saturday. The officials of both varsities were also present for the event and discussed various strategies for mutual cooperation. Dr Uzma and her counterpart Dr Shahdid Siddiqui said that the MoU will envisage collaboration between the two institutions in academic, research, human and infrastructural resources. Both institutions agreed to access research laboratories, facilities, joint seminars, workshops and other areas of mutual interest.
