Corruption is a worldwide menace: NAB DG

MULTAN:
Corruption is a menace which is not restricted to Pakistan only but the entire world was affected by it.

This was said by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director-General Atiqur Rahman while addressing a seminar titled ‘Role of Youth in Eliminating Corruption’ at the Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) the other day.

The seminar was arranged as part of awareness and prevention activity of NAB while its director-general administered oath to office bearers of Character Building Society (CBC) of the MNSUA on the occasion.While speaking to participants, the NAB DG highlighted the performance of NAB Multan and its impact on society.

Atiqur Rahman said the method of punishment and reward was partially successful in the world and termed it necessary to curb corruption through changing the mindset of the youth by awareness and character building.
