Former first daughter Maryam Nawaz has asked women supporters to "avoid getting busy in making breakfast on Sunday morning as usual" and head straight to polling stations to vote for Kulsoom Nawaz, the party's candidate in the NA-120 polls.

''If you don't believe in revenge under the garb of justice, then endorse Lion [the party's electioneering sign],'' said Maryam, who is heading the party campaign, while addressing a convention in Lahore on Friday.

The seat fell vacant after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as prime minister for concealing assets in his nomination papers. Main contest in the by-poll scheduled for September 17 is between Kulsoom and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Yasmin Rashid.

Terming the sit-ins by PTI for accountability as 'conspiracies', Maryam said the Panama Papers case concluded amusingly as the prime minister was disqualified for not retrieving his salary.

Sit-ins, Panama, Aqama all part of a conspiracy: Maryam

''As soon as Kulsoom Nawaz's emerges victorious, we will put in the best of our efforts to resolve the issues of the constituency,'' she stressed.

Earlier in the day, the top court rejected petitions by Sharifs to review its July 28 Panama verdict.

The case against the former prime minister stemmed from the Papers leak last year, which spurred a media frenzy over the extravagant lifestyles and high-end London property portfolio of the Sharif family.
