Former Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) provincial lawmaker Hashim Khan was gunned down along with his relative Ajab Khab when unidentified men opened fire on his vehicle in Lower Dir on Thursday. They were returning from a funeral.
Hashim Khan and Ajab Khan were killed, while their driver sustained injuries in the incident near Tazagram, Shalam Baba Road.

Hashim was a former Member Provincial Assembly in K-P for the PML-N and had recently joined JUI-F.
