AJK assembly condemns violence in Myanmar
The assembly passed a resolution condemning the state terrorism against the Rohingya Muslims

MUZAFFARABAD:
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJKLA) on Thursday unanimously passed a resolution condemning the state terrorism in Myanmar against the Rohingya Muslims.
The move comes after parliamentarians in Islamabad passed similar resolutions.
The resolution was presented in the AJKLA by PTI Parliamentary Leader Abdul Majid Khan.
The resolution states that the homes and the other immovable properties of Rohingya Muslim were torched in Myanmar, with over 2,600 houses of Rohingyas set on fire.
“The massacre and ethnic cleansing of the Rohingyas was a slap in the face of Nobel Peace Prize winner, State Counsellor and Leader of the National League for Democracy of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi, who failed to protect the Rohingya Muslims and other minority communities in Myanmar,” reads the resolution,” reads the resolution.
