'Titanic' co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet address dating rumours once and for all

Pictures of the duo sharing hugs clad in swimwear have circulated the internet

Rumours have surfaced (again!) regarding a budding romance between Titanic stars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio. The pair were spotted ‘holidaying’ together in Saint-Tropez, a coastal town on the French Riviera.

Pictures of them sharing hugs clad in swimwear quickly circulated the internet, due to which fans began their speculation.

However, Kate has denied such assumptions and confirmed that the duo was actually attending a fundraiser. “We weren’t on vacation at all!” she told E!, “Leo did his annual fundraiser for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation. He and I went together and we auctioned off ‘dinner with Jack and Rose’ and actually raised $1.35 million. It was extraordinary.”

“The Titanic co-stars chatted outside DiCaprio’s villa before heading to his foundation’s annual fund-raising gala in Saint-Tropez,” provided US Weekly.

Kate married businessman Ned Rocknroll in 2012. She further declared, “I’ve never been on a holiday with Leo,” putting an end to all the rumours and allegations.

After starring in Titanic together, the pair played a distressed married couple in 2008’s Revolutionary Road which was directed by Kate's ex-husband Sam Mendes.

Kate has always been open about her  “unique” relationship with Leo; “We know each other in a very unique way, I think, because of the experience we both had on that film and having to take care of one another,” she explained.

Although Kate has made it very clear that she was not on holiday with Leo, fans still continue to anticipate more than just a friendship between the two:
