Literary Gala: GCU win inter-collegiate competition
Saad Farooq Zia of the GCU stood first in the Arifana Kalam contest.
LAHORE:
The Government College University (GCU) Lahore team on Friday won the All Pakistan Inter Collegiate Literary Gala held at the Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, beating 16 teams from universities all over the country. Saad Farooq Zia of the GCU stood first in the Arifana Kalam contest and Hafiz Obaid Ullah topped the Qirat Contest. Ali Zafar was declared the second-best English debater. Hafiz Ali Moeen Uddin was the forth member of the GCU team.
