Police Torture: Case registered against 3 cops
Sandal Bar Police registers case against local CIA police on charges of torturing a labourer to death.

Sandal Bar Police registered a case against local CIA police in-charge Malik Muhammad and two cops Mehmood Ahmed and Mazhar Abbas on charges of torturing a labourer to death.
Labourer Javed Shah was allegedly tortured during an investigation after being arrested in a theft case. The case was finally registered on court orders issued after a petition was filed by Chak No62-JB resident Muhammad Afzal.
In his petition, Afzal contended that on March 15, the accused police officials arrested his brother Javed Shah and severely tortured him which led to his death. Despite the registration of a case, no police officials have been arrested in this regard as yet.
