Akshay Kumar reveals poster of upcoming film 'Gold' on his 50th birthday
The film is expected to release in August 2018
Akshay Kumar, who won a national award for his film Rustom, is now collaborating with talented producer Ritesh Sidhwani and film-maker Farhan Akhtar for what is possibly their most ambitious project yet, reports Business of Cinema.
The upcoming period-drama, titled Gold, is under the helm of Honeymoon Travels director Reema Kagti. It has been shot in India and the UK and the script is inspired by India’s first gold medal win in international hockey, the report informs.

Akshay recently took to Twitter to share the poster of the film on the occasion of his 50th birthday. "Every cloud has a silver lining but with your love, my clouds got a lining of Gold! As my age turns Gold, here is the poster of a film close to my heart," said the Khiladi star.
Gold is scheduled to release on August 15, 2018. With some big time Bollywood powerhouses collaborating on the project, we can expect Gold to deliver a quality cinematic experience.
