Would love to win all three matches: Sarfraz Ahmed
Pakistan skipper believes in his young team to down the World XI
Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed believes he would love to beat the World XI in all three T20Is in Lahore when both teams take on each other in a week-long series.
Sarfraz, while addressing media in Lahore, said that they have young team which has the ability to beat any team.
“I would love to win all three matches against the World XI but they have a good team too, so it going to be a good series,” said Sarfraz. “We have a young team in T20Is. But I am confident that we can give tough competition to the World XI.”
On a question about left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir, who is potentially going to miss the entire World XI series as him and his wife are expecting their first-born, Sarfraz said: “We have a replacement for Amir. Meanwhile, Hasan Ali is also in form and he can lead our attack.”
