Academia-Industry: MoU signed for stronger linkages

The agreement is a continuation of LCCI endeavours filling the gap between the industry and academia

LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday with the University of Engineering & Technology (UET) to increase academia-industry collaboration.



LCCI President Abdul Basit and UET Vice Chancellor Fazal Ahmad Khalid signed the document in the presence of LCCI Senior Vice President Amjad Ali Jawa, Vice President Muhammad Nasir Hameed Khan and LCCI Standing Committee Convener on Industry Academia Linkage Umer Saleem.

This agreement is a continuation of LCCI endeavours aimed at filling the communication gap between the industry and academia, according to a statement issued to the media.



The MoU will enable both institutions to share their knowledge and experience for mutual benefits. It was also agreed that both sides will conduct joint seminars and workshops on common issues.
