Will defend Pakistan at any cost, says Lahore corps commander Sadiq Ali

Pakistan Army officials have sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of the country and to protect the lives of the citizens. Their sacrifices have been written in golden words in history.
These views were expressed by Lahore Corps Commander Lt Gen Sadiq Ali, a press release issued by ISPR stated on Thursday. He was addressing an event which was held in connection with the 1965 war at Yaadgar-e-Shuhuda, Lahore Garrison.
Punjab Governor Rafiq Rajwana, Lahore High Court Chief Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and other officials were also present on the occasion.

While addressing the participants, the corps commander added that army will foil the nefarious designs of the enemy and was committed to achieve its goals. He maintained, “Pakistan is our identity and part of our faith. We will defend it at any cost.”
Meanwhile, the participants offered prayers for the martyred officials. Later, famous singers, including Ustad Hamid Ali Khan, Sanwal Ataullah, Sairah Naseem, Memoona Sajid and others presented national songs.
