Submission of Hajj applications start today
Designated bank branches will collect the applications on a first-come-first-serve basis to ensure transparency.
The submission of the first-come-first-serve applications for Hajj 2011 has officially begun from today (Friday) and will stretch till May 10.
According to the Hajj policy approved by the federal cabinet on Thursday, 180,000 Pakistanis will go for Hajj this year.
Out of these pilgrims, 90,000 will go on the government scheme while the rest will go through other registered companies.

Hajj costs are divided into two categories according to the accommodation, costing either Rs200,000 or Rs212,000.
