The four were picked up after Shahzad tipped off US authorities. Their identity is being kept secret. The FBI is also looking at the their involvement in the Times Square plot.
US officials have indicated that Faisal has cooperated fully with investigators after repeatedly waiving his legal rights. Several suspects have been arrested in Pakistan after Shahzad claimed he was trained in Waziristan.
