Amitabh Bachchan's monsoon tweets leave fans furious
Users troll the star for being highly insensitive...
Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan is probably the most influential star in the film industry - with countless fans worldwide squandering him with extreme adoration - but fact is, not all his social media updates fly well with fans.
The Baghbaan actor's frivolous updates on Mumbai rains that hit the city past week and claimed a mammoth of casualties, met with resentment from users who trolled the superstar for being insensitive.
Sonam didn’t reply to Big B’s birthday message and that didn’t go down too well!
"Mumbai real estate prices hit an all time high - Every building is now sea facing" read the actors post that triggered a social-media storm on his handle.
And users retorted:
The actor was on quite the spree and even compared the heavy downpour to Hurricane Harvey and Twitter users were not too pleased.
Bachchan's nightmare of 'Baghban' comes back to haunt him!
"Don't try to fight nature...don't put blame...what did the most powerful nation inthe World do against Hurricane Harvey?" read another tweet.
And they fired back:
This is not the first time that the otherwise revered Bachchan has been trolled on social media. His complaint against Sonam for not tweeting back to his birthday wish made headlines too as it reminded fans of his 'Baghban nightmare'. Mumbai rains, however, is a more serious issue and users understandably are fuming over the actor's reckless posts.
