This money will be used to provide angiographies and angioplasties.
A trauma centre will be opened by August and a CT scanner, MRI machines and a dental ward will also be added.
A new ward will be constructed with 60 beds, with a sub-ward for gynaecology.
Patients with brain tumors will be treated with the help of a Gama knife.
This machine is worth Rs700 million and at present is only available at one hospital in the Punjab.
Better sanitary conditions and heavy-duty generators were also being installed.
