Drizzle in city, rain likely from today
The Thaddo Dam is a retention dam built near Karachi on the Malir River for storing rainwater. A breach in the dam also occurred in 2013, which resulted in the flooding of nearby areas, including Saadi Town. The water has started to enter Saadi Town and it is feared that if necessary actions are not taken, it will result in a catastrophe similar to what happened in 2013.
