The X-rays revealed a crack had occurred when Harmison was struck on the forearm during Durham’s match against Hampshire.

Durham coach Geoff Cook confirmed that the fast-bowler will be out of action for two to three weeks. “Stephen, at the non-strikers end, was hit by a drive from Phil Mustard,” said Cook.
