A shutter down strike is being observed in Quetta against the target killing of Pakhtuns in Karachi.

The call for strike was made by The Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, which also held protests on Thursday. The party strongly condemned the target killings and alleged that the government has totally failed to control the menace.

With the strike in effect, all shops and business centres were  closed down. Police, FC and ATF troops are patrolling dfferent areas of the city to maintain law and order.

The strike call is being support by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam and the Awami National Party.

Sultan Ahmed | 13 years ago | Reply Target killing, is pre-mediation, deteriorating law and order situation, is a pre-planed. Some elements rammed into the province and want complete unrest in the port city of Karachi. The purpose behind their activities is to destabilize the country We should put our arms up and stand up to save our country from the enemies. spreading around, shouldn't wast time, arrested in the way should reache their target.
